After having some free time, I started airbrushing R/C car bodies again and I’m really enthusiastic to learn more and expand my skills. I will be periodically making posts with new bodies I have painted to document my progression. The designs are my girlfriend’s work but now I do all the painting and trimming.
First body belongs to my Serpent 733 nitro sedan – a Protoform P37-N. From what I have read is is pretty neutral handling body. I chose the lightweight body made with thinner material to shave weight as well as test durability. Counter to intuition, thinner bodies flex more instead of cracking and might last longer. We will see how it survives my driving. I also have a Protoform SRS-N coming soon for a more aggressive option in aerodynamics.
